Just A Little Time

A Wretched&Alone game for Zimo23, about coming to terms with yourself on a road trip. Strongly based on the end of Steven Universe: Future and other trauma-informed fiction.

You are 18 years old. You have a car, a packed suitcase, a full tank of gas, your guitar, a cell phone with a charger, and a lot of lost childhood to make up. Where will you go? What will you do? 

Content Note: Just A Little Time is a wistful solo journaling game about road trips, inhuman powers, responsibilities, trauma, boundaries, and self-compassion. As such, it may include some of the following themes: parental/societal neglect, flashbacks (especially to violence), teenage romance, loneliness, emotional dysregulation,  self-harm, and other uncomfortable situations. Depending on how you engage with the prompts, your playthrough may contain other dark themes. 

Please take care when engaging with this game – you ultimately know your own limits best. If you don’t like  a prompt, simply shuffle it back into the deck, pull another card, and move on.
